Morning all,
I'm planning a go at the Scottish 4000s duathlon this Sunday (24th), as a 30th birthday challenge. If you don't know it the idea is to start at Glen Nevis YH and run Nevis, CMD, Aonoch Beag and Aonoch Mor, then road bike from the ski centre across to Glen Feshie to run Cairn Toul, Angels Peak, Breariach, Ben Macdui and Cairngorm. However, I think there may be a fair bit of snow up there, so I'm wondering if anyone has been up high on either side in the last few days / week (I was there a fortnight ago) and can give me a report on the conditions, particularly the CMD arete. Any knowledge gratefully received!
Also, if anyone fancies joining me for either of the runs please let me know, as my support unfortunately seems to be dwindling! I'm hoping to be going at a decent pace, though obviously if the snow is knee-deep this may slow things down... Kept this short but let me know if you want details.
Cheers,
Stu
