I'll be serious (..or is that boring??) :)
Not a doc but this is what I have found out.
Vit C isn't belived to be harmful in large doses as the body expels it. But large doses do cause the runs (wish it helped me on long runs ;))
I was told though that you need to have sufficnt zinc to asbsorb the Vit C and so I now take Vic C with zinc (you can buy it like that) when run down.
Also when run down I take echinacea (....can never spell that)
I haven't had a cold is aaaages...mind you had every other bloody thing wrong with me :rolleyes: lol
