I've been putting together a kit for my PW hike, whenever it happens , and i'm struggling to get the full kit below 15kg not including food so if you do so then you've done well.

Luke Appleyard (Wharfedale)- quick on the dissent
Sub 15kg should be fairly easy. Only going to carry a couple of days food and re-stock as i go. My OMM kit is quite light.

Should be called the 'CO-OP Tour of The Pennines.
I'm gonna get that cwazy gwouse...
Just been reading the stats of when Joss did the Pennine Way. 100+ miles on day one, then about 4 or 5 hours sleep and off again...
Mind you, he did go north to south, so I suppose it was downhill all the way.

hi guys my aim is to walk to pennine way in 6 days this year
what you thing train wise shud be done
Get out and do some long days with a pack in them thar hills, I should think!
Lots of walking would be a good start. Get out and recce walk it as much as possible so you know each section and how long it takes you if you really want to be prepared, other than that just get out and walk every day so you're used to it. It works out around 45miles a day so I would get used to walking a similar amount
