Good to meet you Mr B. Yes, sub optimal conditions! I managed a very slow ascent, but had a good line on the way down. Only dropped down to the checkpoint having kept high on the ridge. Was very glad to see the marshal at the river. Followed the legend that is Colin Valentine all the way round. He managed to run all of it - a bit slower than you.
I was very surprised to to see the photographer! Thanks to all the marshals - they had a worse time than us. The destruction of the base camp tent testified to the conditions!

I was going to stop for the presentation, but with the roof off the tent and being wet through to my skin, it would have been a grind. I don't think I won anything.

Are you going Luke? I can’t make it due to being in the land of Llani. Dolgellau park run for me tomorrow.
Really Wild Boar is an exceptionally fine fell race. Hope you find a good descent line - if you’re going.

This is one of the very few fell races I regret not having raced; but so many races and so little time.

"...as dry as the Atacama desert".
