problem is stolly most of them will only take two-night bookings at the weekend even in April (I - and I suspect a few others - only need a room for the night before)

that's where the YHAs clean up

still, as you say, shouldn't be too difficult

there is the coach house or the Black Bull in Bentham (railway station here) and i will be going to the race and could give you a lift. not sure what they charge for a stay
