I'm not running I'm banned (for changing clubs again)

I'm going and watching and hopefully getting in 18-20 miles while I'm there.
I'm thinking it could be quite close over the first 6 legs and there could be some suprises if some of the northern lot get full strength sides out.

Yeah, I've run leg 1 and leg 12 and ran equally as well. Though I suppose you could lose that 1% of focus that can make all the difference if you're running alone?
But runners wouldn't be runners if they weren't happy - we're the biggest perfectionists around!

As for tomorrow, I'm on leg 5, legs feeling better today so am up for the challenge!

Must admit, I agree with GM. I have run some of my fastest times on the track in minor medal meets where I’m out by myself from the gun. The same goes for running 5k relay legs etc. I can get myself more knackered on a time trial than any race. You don’t have anybody else’s tactics to worry about, just hard EVEN pace – and that is what is the most tiring.

Easy to say pal, easy to say. Maybe you need to ask why your best races are at "minor medal meets"?

I can assure you that taking a 1 minute lead into the long stage of the national 12 stage is not an easy task.

GM - theres a difference between a 10min uni relay leg and a 25-30 min time trial. No good saying "you should just run hard". Sometimes it needs a bit more than that.
