I ran 26.35. I was rather upset by my time when I first finished and felt I ran like a bag of spuds which had stopped at all the ice cream vans on route!!!!

On further reflection I started to feel better. Full results are online St's Lad. Salford team was pants and we really need to look at this over the next few months to develop the squad and get everyone out. There is no way we should be down in 25th place.

Thanks. Not sure what's happened to my body over the last few weeks but long may it continue! My next big aim is the Manchester 10k where plenty ran quick last year so hopefully I can get a bit of that too.

Chuffed to bits today. To win the race was the main thing so to have a good run personally is just the icing on the cake for me really. Looking forward to a recovery week now - I've been on the go without a rest since October I'm knackered! Then I'm going to have some fun in Hawkshead so hopefully I'll see some of you there.

I ran an ok race but the main thing was that Rossendale was there and we had a good team effort, How did you get on Bone

i ran ok considering the training i've had.The heat got to me a bit in the second half of the course but everyone's in the same boat.
I had a good day down there and am using it as a stepping stone back to fitness.
