All this rubbish the media are peddling about every player agreeing to crouch down and put a knee on the ground. I don't believe that for a minute. They have been told to do it and imagine the grief anyone who declined to do it would get.

I wonder if participants other sports are going to be bullied into doing it on their return?

Some haven't done it. I saw one of the Wolves players didn't. The camera's moved off the shot pronto and focussed on those who took the knee.

I didn't see it as I've cancelled my Sky. The two reports on the match I read say that "all 22 players took the knee". You saw what you saw WP but perhaps the player in question had a touch of the Corporal Jones about him!
I am sure we would have heard more had one of the players stayed upright.

To my mind football should have stuck with 'kick it out' which is a similar message and applies to all races, religions, ethnicities etc.

Apparently the plane came from Blackpool Airport.
They found the banner offensive but didn't check it.
Bet the rank and file of football fans in England didn't find it offensive.
