Think it's disgusting how he was treated. Comments on the radio, the players will pick themselves up and play for dalglish tomorrow, how unprofessional are they? If I had a new boss and decided not to work properly I'd be sacked. Hodgson is a good, honest manager who would have done well given the time. You dont manage as much as he has, without some standards. I think those players should hang their heads in shame.

Howard Webb's sons have confirmed he is not and never has been a Man Utd fan.

ha ha. I got that as a text message today. I also sent my Liverpool supporting mate a message to sarcastically ask if he enjoyed the match. He said no as it was "the usual 14 vs 10". I'll take that as a no then

That might be a slightly malicious comment, but it's very true. A lot of clubs have fallen from being very good to being OK (as Liverpool are now) and have found it very hard to find the way back up. The burden of expectation from the fans and the inability for the board not to keep sacking managers can really hinder them.
