Good game last night..
Very harsh penalty call..
But Mancini's decision to go 3-5-2 was strange.. Fair play to Liverpool though, best I've seen them for a while, bellamy's a real handful.

Mancini's team selection was wrong -I'm struggling to come up with one single, credible reason for the omission of Aguero, Clichy and Milner from the starting 11 last night.
The more I think about it, there can only be one: he just wasn't interested in the trophy. He certainly handed it to them over the two legs.

yeah.. I think he should have gone for it.. the league cup is scoffed at but United have won it in a few times and its been important in keeping that winning mentality... I see why he did it though. Aguero has a lot of pressure on him now with Ballotelli out and Dzeko not scoring regularly.
Grayson sacked.

Disgraceful in my opinion. There is only one man responsible for our current situation and that's Ken Bates.
What manager worth his salt would want to work for Bates? Best players to be sold (or given away for free because they've not been given a new contract) and replaced with emergency loan signings.
I suppose Strachan would be a popular choice among the fans but his record is mixed. Warnock and Davies would be less popular but would at least have the merit of proven track records of getting the best out of mediocre players. Under the circumstances that would be just as well.

Warnock would buy Paddy Kenny, get you promoted and then get fired...that's what normally happens. I hope Leeds don't get Warnock as I'd much rather they were in the Chumpionship.
