Warnock does my head in... I really hope we don't get him. I'd have happily kept Grayson and seen old Bates out on his ear. The club's going nowhere with him at the helm.

Exactly Hank. Given he's had the rug pulled from under him so many times by Bates, I think Grayson's done a pretty good job. At least his heart is in the right place. Not something you can say for Bates who is an asset stripper. Some of the decisions that have been made in the last couple of years have defied belief.

I don't understand all this anti-Warnock stuff from you Leeds fans. Sure he's got a big mouth, but he's also got a great record of getting clubs promoted and working with dick heads like Ken Bates. Is there a better Championship standard manager available?

Grayson, nice guy, job possibly too big for him. And made many times worse by Bates. Think there are better managers around though, Freeman seems to be doing more with even less resources at Palace. Much and all as I dislike Warnock, there is something about him that may suit Leeds, he has the experience, he has the siege mentality, he'd have those players walking through brick walls to get onto the pitch at ER. It might not be pretty but it would be effective, and frankly I think Leeds fans appreciate players who roll up the sleeves and get stuck in, the 70s team was like Dulux...beautiful...but tough. Even the last title winning team was based aroundtackling and high energy, with players like Batty and Strachan buzzing around, Chapman putting his head in where other players wouldn't put their boots, and then the elegance of McAllister once the ball was won.

I think he would know that this a job bigger than any other he's had and he will never get a chance like it again, he could establish Leeds as a top flight club again...or he could strangle Ken Bates along the way...

Ok you've sold him to me.

It would be interesting to see how Warnock would deal with Bates, I doubt he'd put up with the s**t that Grayson's taken. Given the fact that there will be no money it's probably worth giving Warnock a try (if he'll come!). It does stick in the craw though, he was so anti Leeds at Sheffield United.

I'm just thoroughly disgusted with the way Grayson has been treated. I've not been this angry since Eddie Gray was sacked in 1985.

I'm pretty ambivalent about Warnock! I do think he'd be good for Leeds at the moment though for all the reasons Connor posted before. The fans might be a bit miffed, but beggars and all that.....
