I totally agree Richard, typical of the man that he didn't want to announce it last week with Bacon retiring and Mancini getting sacked, oh no he wanted wall to wall breaking news. If he had played for any other PL team he would have become just another average player.Never have I seen a so called "world class player" so useless, he couldn't tackle, couldn't head, couldn't beat a man with pace or skill. Shooting was his forte. Nothing else and a real prima-dona too.

eh? The way city fans have been woe is me this past week is incredible.. you've lost the league, came 2nd... thats all.

You'll never understand it Iain. You will be glad to know however that City fans are having a 1 minute applause on Sunday after 61 minutes in appreciation of Roberto and everything that he has done for us.

His next mission will be to get a knighthood. He'll do a few well publicised stunts for charity. We'll see him hold a dying kids hand, feed a few Africans and shed a few tears while making an impassioned plea for world peace. Only if he's accompanied by his publicist of course. He wouldn't want to waste any tears if no cameras were about.

To dismiss Beckhams ability just shows how one eyed you are.. so Danbo knows more about judging a player than all those who twice voted him one of the greatest players in the world.. SAF who selected him for so many years.. all the England managers who selected him for 100+ caps.. the managers of Madrid.. AC Milan And PSG who also took him to their clubs..

38... still playing top level football.. not many do that. Plus he's helped out at numerous campaigns..

The fact remains he got 115? england caps.. 10? titles in 4 countries.. and is one of the richest footballers in the world.. and I'm sure he's gutted you don't rate him.. as careers go I think he can bow out saying job done..
