Woodward has finally said something I agree with.. the goal next year, CL spot..

We shouldn't be expected to win the title.. as long as we're competing for it.. interesting times though, VG is only getting a 2 year deal, 3rd year possible.. which at his age is understandable but it means we are in for a merry go round.. but I'm hoping it means Giggs is being lined up..

Rodgers has done a great job if I was to point out one thing I observed, sometimes he lacks a plan B.

Thats a fair goal, bit who do you see not being in there?

City, Chelsea and Arsenal seem pritty nailed on and Liverpool have made massive progress.
Spurs, Everton and your lot in the mix will make it interesting.

I'm not certain about Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool...

Saurez may yet leave and the second season after success is always harder... Chelsea are losing two top players and Jose is in a sulk.. Arsenal are arsenal...

I think we now do have a top 5, but the top 7 seem to be pulling away into a mini league that Everton will do well to stick with unless they can get money...

Its why I feel for Pardew, basically Saints got above them other than that he did as well as could be expected, OK he had some horrid runs of results, but if they have been spread out, a few hammerings taken off, it'd be OK..

He's done a solid job, we all thought it was a strange appointment but I think he's done well.

Henderson, incredibly, was a big loss at the end, had he been fit I think they'd have survived the Palace come back.. But they do need a word class center half..

I agree but I think United could possibly get in there as well.

If they apply that rule in the World Cup I think England could win it!

The word on the street is that Family Man Giggs is making Van Gaal sweat over the decision as to accept the assistant managers role. Van Gaal must be shitting himself in case Family Man says no.

It sounds like it is a United's requirement that Family Man is appointed. Most new managers want their own team around them not having someone stood behind them with a big knife.

All bodes well for next season at the swamp then. Tick Tock!
