A good win for Wales today. Nice start to the Euros.

I see Scotland managed a win away from home against a strong San Marino side.
See England just managed to win.
Even with an IRA sympathiser in the team. Outrageous. You couldn't make it up.

Correct.
Also they won't pick Jack Grelish because he play's in the championship but can forget what league Jack Butland plays in, pick the sympathiser and pick a Chelsea youth team player who has never played for the first team.
Strange way to carry on.
What was the score?
5-1
As much as i don't buy into the hype of the 'team England', and as mentioned above, some baffling selection issues... i can't knock Gareth Southgate for what he's doing. I have no doubt the media will turn on him the moment things look like they aren't going perfectly.
Also, the racist abuse last night... As outdated and ridiculous as that chanting is, i can't help but think we don't help things by blowing it out of all proportion over here... By all means sort it out in our own country, but just treat the likes of Montenegro, Slovakia, Croatia, etc, and their backward supporters, with the contempt they deserve. UEFA won't do anything about it, so just deny them the publicity they crave.
What happened to Gareth Southgate's threat to take his players off the pitch if subjected to racial abuse? Nothing. Just grandstanding as usual.
He should spend more time on things he can do something about like stopping his players abusing the officials, "f**k off ref" every time a decision goes against them and cheating by diving whenever they "feel contact" or mostly when there is no contact at all.

It’d be smashing if Southgate youthful team could play in a more Corinthian spirit but the main thing for me is they’re winning, scoring lots of goals and maybe most importantly don’t have anyone called Terry, Ferdinand, Lampard (!) or especially Neville playing for them
What about Batty. Remember him, could only pass backwards or sideways!
I don't rate Jordan Henderson either although in this age of stats he is always leading the table when it comes to telling the ref to F*** Off, closely followed by Harry "one of our own" Kane. And, of course, that poor little Raheem Stirling is top of the stats in falling over for no apparent reason!
