Good game!
Lets look at the old scoreboard !
Chelsea 2 - Man City 1
1) How soon wil Danbert be up here saying it's not important?
2) Not happy as City will be mad next week when they play the Arsenal, ouch, could be painful for us.....
3) Not happy as Chelski have just leapfrogged us
4) Happy as Spurs have gone down another place....
5) Happy as City wont go through unbeaten, leaving the Invincibles as the holders of that proud record.
Oh I am a slightly confused Gooner...
I bet not many people would have predicted that result after 20 minutes. Do City lack the killer instinct?
If I was Danbert, I would be proclaiming the fall of City right now.2 points Danberto. You've now lost as many games as us
I think that's fair enough John. Maybe City should put an alternative league table in their programme showing them with an additional three points. Ken Bates did that a few years ago when Leeds had been deducted 15 points by the Football League. Every week the match programme showed the points intact and Leeds top of the league. Sadly the Football League wouldn't play ball and refused to see the validity of Ken's alternative table and we didn't get promoted!
Nevermind this priemiership rubbish, the real fun is tonight in the fa cup. If Oldham win theyre through to the big time- a trip to play Liverpool at Anfield.
Come on Oldham!
Oh when the blues...go marching in...
In the big scheme of things last nights result was not that important. There are many positives to look forward to........the semi final v Liverpool, the FA Cup tie v Rags and Arsenal on Sunday.
We are difficult to beat, strong all over the pitch, and have goals in the team every time we attack. If we can go on another 14 match unbeaten run, we could have 1 hand on the title. We are the only team left competing on 4 fronts. We are the leagues top scorers, have one of the best defences in the league. It was like watching Barcelona for 25 mins last night, yes, this is City.......lets all take a reality check and realise there will always be setbacks on any path..there is character and fighting team spirit in this team to come back stronger.
To the Regiment - I Wish I Was There
I thought this season might be half-interesting but it's looking already like Man Utd by six points as per usual :closed:
