Okay, leaning towards option 2, as I think this will be further, but will confirm on MapMyRun later.

Also, should confirm a date later.
If you can get the map up on here it would help me visualize it a bit better SS, especially if I can port it into MemoryMap?

Its funny but my brain can only associate Pendle with misery and near death experiences.

I'm sure this time it'll be different...?

I mean, what could possibly go wrong?

Is it quite a contrived route SS? The ftop on it's own is contrived.
    Might be interested though

    Short answer? Very!

See my first post for the kind of thing I'm looking at, but it's essentially just FTOP & Pendle Cloughs bolted together with a bit of trimming for a best fit.

A MapMyRun summary of the route:

    From Downham (Option A)
    http://www.mapmyrun.com/route/gb/hug...26537909490518
    24.25mi and 3412ft

    From Barley (Option B)

    http://www.mapmyrun.com/route/gb/bar...26537743627816
    22.56mi and 3035ft

Distances are less than planned, probably cutting off more of the route than I thought when bolting them together. Ascent figures can't be right because it's got all the FTOP climbs in if nothing else.

So option B looks tougher, so that's what we'll do.

I'll let you know the date shortly.

    What an utter mess!

    It looks quality though.
