I ate late because i was doing a street-orienteering event tonight...i had fresh pasta, a tin of tune (in brine) and a small tin of sweatcorn.

Went a bit OTT with the pasta and couldnt finish it.

I don't think you need to cut-out red meat completely; just use it sparingly. The best diets in my opinion are Indian vegetarian and Mediterranean. I try and stick to these. With the odd pie fest after a race.

Al, have you tried eating your meat as raw as possible (seriously) - blue, dripping and just seared, you know, wave it about in the same room as a lighted match for 10 seconds, I do this and have no problems, digests perfectly, full of lovely goodness. Organ meats are especially nice. It's overcooking with other stuff, and all that beany, processed wheaty, grainy, veggie stuff that causes me trouble.
    Grok on!
