I'm just about to pack, once I've printed my maps off (oops a bit late in the day). Went a slightly long way round to Darwen Tower last year, which I hope not to repeat this year! My alarm will be for 5.45 too. :w00t:

Another pleasant outing was had by all; the rain stopped and the sun eventually came out. It was even getting warm by the time I finished.
Good to see you again Splatcher and socks.
I've just posted my report with links to a few more pictures this time.
Nice to see you again Nick and Splatcher. Not my fastest round, infact 20 mins slower than last year but the ground was worse and given how my body seems to be falling apart I was pleased to get round. Weather almost perfact- except the mist that led me astray where I tought I knew the way and didn't concentrate.
One or two photos here http://www.justusuk.com/2011/02/wint...-1213-feb.html
Superb photos of the reservoirs. Looks like summer!
Lovely pictures as always, Ian.
Splatcher and socks, I'll introduce you next time our three paths cross (if I remember of course).
Karen, it was great chatting to you. We should do it more often.
Does anyone know how many runners enter this and what range of times they run? - I'm wondering whether to enter but don't really want to run around on my tod. I can do that any day of the week without having to be at Rivvie at 8am!
