Keith has just posted his thanks to everyone on Facebook, especially the young cadet. He seems to be in good form and is lined up for a triple bypass.

Hi all I am chilled and relaxing playing the waiting game , many thanks to the lady runner who I was chatting to just 30 mins earlier who got CPR started and organised other runners like Gordon and the cadet into 30sec shifts , I guess the papers went with a story that suited them
I felt slow from the start and breathing heavy at a painfully slow pace but came too a bit off winter hill and felt better right up to my attack.! At least it happend where it did rather than than out training at night

Sounds like a shocking experience. Glad you're ok.
Well done to those giving first aid. They clearly did a great job.
Wow, that's inspirational. Happy days, Keith and all.
Hi all I am out of hospital after nealy three weeks ,now on the slow road to recovery. I ended up having a quadruple bypass. . When I look back in hindsight all the warnings where there.feeling tired (knackered )al weekend couldn't keep up with folk who normally I would drop , and only felt comfortable running at a very slow pace and needing a warm up for that !, it also. To me 3 hour plus to get round the old fiends dale race route this year which is pitifully slow for me . I just put all down to work and lack of fitness.
Hope to be back on the tops by Summer even if just walking n watching.

It was shocking Allan it took two shocks to revive me. And that's all I could remember. , just going dizzy then bang paramedics and a blond lady runner shouting my name and a hellecopter at the side of me ,then out again during the flight waking up in ER
