Bullock Smithy recce

I'm taking this Friday (12th Feb) off work and going to do as much as I can of Peak Forest - Miller's Dale - Chelmorton - Earl Sterndale - Brand Top
if I go on my own, this will mean doubling back on myself (which I don't mind)
but if anybody else is free/fancies it, a 2-car-jobby is possible...

splendid day out, perfecting my Bullock Smithy Shuffle today
parked near the Waterloo Hotel on the A6 and did Chelmorton - Earl Sterndale - Brand Top... and back to the car for an improvised road stop (even changed my shoes/socks!) - then dropped down to Miller's Dale and up to Monksdale Farm... and back!
22 Miles in 5hrs 10mins = 14 minute miling - pretty much what I was hoping for

May well see you at this one later in the year Daz. Will see how first 50 goes first (Hardmoors 55) and then Fellsman . In the meantime if any more recces going on I'll try and make it over from the Eastern peninsular that is Hull

I know nearly all the route now, but will deffo be revisiting various bits before Sept
and doing a long stretch is easier with 2 cars...
