    Martin's Heart Operation

Yesterday, Martin had a 7 hour operation to replace his heart valve and other corrective heart surgery. He is recovering as well as can be expected for such a big operation.
He may not do 1.43 again at the Ben but sure he will be running again later this year.
I'm sure you will all wish him a speedy recovery.

Don't matter if he never runs that time for the Ben again, he's done that and no one can take it away from him, main thing is a speedy recovery, a gentle return to running and no further heart bother.

He may not have done 1.43 for 'The Ben' for quite a number of years due to his heart problems (and age) but he completed the 2009 3 peaks in 4hr 51 sec which most people would be proud of, but he was dissappointed.
