Can any of the forums Yaki Da's confirm that this race is as stunning as it sounds?

To the Regiment - I Wish I Was There
Danbert, the organiser is Welsh Harrier so he should know a thing or two about it .
I've just decided I don't trust you anymore.
Are you there Welsh Harrier?

It's organised by Denbigh Harriers who are affiliated to Welsh Athletics. I'm guessing that WA have permitted the race so you should be a member of a club connected to WA or the English/English Regional equivalent to avoid the extra 2 quid charge.

Can anyone tell me where the start/registration area is for this race?
the directional instructions say that i should(coming from the betws y coed end) take the A543 and then the B4501 that seems to take me past Llyn Alwen.
is the start on the Llyn Bran end of the B4501 or on the mynydd poeth end?
Cheers

Have you looked at the above link? It shows a map with the approximate area marked, it looks like its closer to the southern end from that. I was planning on driving around via Betws rather than around the coast, is that what you were planning?
Anyway the 3000ers people have cancelled due to the weather, so we are probably running now too.
Cheers
Iain
definitely through Betws, then turn off at Cerigydridion towards llyn Brenig (not the way thats suggested on the entry form),
although could change my mind and not do it at all because ive just noticed that its on the sunday and not saturday. ...dont like sunday morning races
Enjoyed that - thanks Welsh Harrier and others for their organising. Wish i hadn't have worn studs though, that was a trail shoe race and no mistake. Ahh well, still got round uninjured and enjoyed the surreal post race yoghurt!
