Was really sorry to have missed this race, as Saddleworth had quite a good turn out. Hope to see you soon. PS New series of The Trip! Some genius moments so far.
Hi Helena, it was good to see Tanya when she had finally stopped laughing at my mishap. Next time I see Ian I'm expecting at least 100 lines of....I must look at my map. Didn't lose too many places, only about 60 haha. It's all part of the fun, take it on the chin and look forward to the next one. Let me know when your next fell race is, I could do with some navigational advice!! Take care.....ps new series of Derek starts in a couple of weeks.

Hi Ian, the 5 D's of navigation are Destination, Direction, Distance, Duration and Description....I think?
I used my own method called the 5 F's of navigation

    FOLLOW the runner in front.
    FINALLY realise you've gone wrong.
    FUMBLE for map.
FORGET everything you've been taught, your in race mode.
FLIPPIN eck or words of that nature are mumbled under breath.

take care mate, see you soon....if I can find you!!
