Not this year Notlob, I've entered the Lakeland trail series and the Hawkshead Trail race is on the same day.
I'm running again, but nowhere near full fitness - what about you at Littleborough last night - what a superb time!

To the Regiment - I Wish I Was There
Shame about you not doing Wardle, I'm sure you'll do well at Hawkshead.
Thanks for the congrats about L'boro, was a PB by 30 seconds, which possibly says more about my previous PB. Didn't have the motivation of any of the Royton comedians (I don't mean O&R should anyone from O&R read this) being at last night's race. Also I did have the advantage of not having done Liver Hill the night before, unlike Walker Boy and Widdy who also raced last night.
Must also mention, great turnout from Rochdale ladies and also Jack Walsh (Rochdale junior U12) who ran a time of just over 21 minutes, pretty impressive.
RR you can take (possible) heart from some of the details in the results being questionable, for instance the result below is actually Georgio Costa (another Rochdale junior) who's definitely not a lady, having said that I know Georgio is 15 and he did beat me
With this in mind it could be that Jack is not an U12, he might possibly be 12 or 13

Wardle Skyline is were I do most of my long training runs so I will definetely be up for it. Looking to work on my fell running this year and trying to build up stamina and strength which I lack in races more than 5 or 6 miles long. A good one for the family to watch from Watergrove if the weather is OK.
Widdy, you should try running up them there hills in stead of walking em......
onwards and upwards
Gaz
p.s. have some great runs on the beach this week (and early morning football with tom )
Cheers Mate - will try and get some reps on proper hills in Wales.
What's this race like chaps and chapesses? I'm trying to plan a few races for the next few races to keep me motivated to train. This looked reasonably gentle?
Very fast and the last half mile or so seems to go on for ever. There's another thread on this race here.
Do you remember where every thread is david??
