bigger innov8 shoe size?

I've had a pair of mens flyroc 310 size 8 for a few years (not used that much in the last year).

I'm trying to get back into off road running and after a few runs my toes are hitting the front of the shoes.

If I get a new pair of shoes (I've seen the mudroc 290 for £50 from peteblands) as these are different shoes will it be a simple case of getting an 8.5?

have people found innov8's sizes consistant throughout the product range?

(i'm 29 so my feet have stopped growing)

Oh...also can anyone recomend a good waterproof emergency trouser that works and doesnt cost the earth. something I can stuff into the bottom of my bumbag?

I would suggest you go into store and try the shoes on.
The fit of the Mudroc/Mudclaw/X-Talon are all narrower than the Flyroc you have previously had.

Fell shoes want to feel firm on your feet but still enable you to wiggle your toes, you dont want to be jammed up against the front.
A good store will be able to give you advice on the correct fit.

OK thanks. My Flyrocs feel snug and generally ok but whilst running the tips of my toes are bashing the fronts.

I'm in Bolton do you know of any retailers (the website NW shops are all in Cumbria).
