Bridge quits England Squad

Apparently Wayne Bridge has pulled out of the England squad and ruled himself out of contention for the world cup on the grounds that his position is "untenable and potentially divisive".

Is it just me or is Bridge being a total drama queen about all this. He wasn't even going out with Vanessa Perroncel when John Terry had his affair with her. It strikes me that the only injured party in all of this is Terry's wife so what is Bridge's problem?

To be honest I don't think he's all that good anyway.

I saw this and was also pretty amazed that he should take this stance. Is he angling for damages? He's gone down in my estimation on this, and I think he's been badly advised. I wouldn't pick him again if I were Capello.
