Make my mind up for me ...

got the Haworth Hobble weekend after next: 33 miles, 4,400ft

this Saturday as a training run, I could do either a 22 miler, which I have done a couple of times already, and could therefore try and do it quickly

or a 32-miler, which would be the first time I've run more than 22m, and so would be a real test

    Answers on a postcard please.

Anything above 20 the week before a race like this is insanity in my eyes. You should of done this run earlier. In the last week you will not get any gains. Stick to a solid 20 IMO. Good luck.

I think you have to ask your self what you want to do at the Hobble?

Get round on a slow plod as a training run then feel free to do either if you are up to it.
Get the best time possible on the hobble then I wouldn't go more than 15 steady this weekend.

I'm missing the hobble this year so I'm stronger for the skyline
