Hi Lloydy
As you will have read you have to be over 18 to do this, however there is no upper age limit which I suggest should be 44 as I am 45 AND IT HURT A LOT.
What was it like well - you know when you get a slow Chinese burn at school and they person twists the skin tighter slowly and it feels like agony - a bit like that.
The terrain was good, long run along a concrete farm track to the end and up a steep grassy climb which led to a steeper then steady climb along the side of Pendle, we got to the top and then turned left and ran through snow and ice and a mixture of open grass and rocky narrow muddy track for about 4 miles mainly down, there was then very steep climb which you can see here
http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/TommoP...rOfPendle2010# a very steep descent, a short climb and a long finish down some gently sloping fields.
Its the sort of thing you will look forward to doing when you are older and then half way round wonder why on earth you ever wanted to do it in the first place.
Hope this helps
