Yo Derby, i went up Swirl howe, Wetherlam and the the Old Man on Saturday, there was snow from around a third of the way up. Not too deep looked to be fresh, we got round no probs with just boots on. It might be different now though.....

Blencathra and Helvellyn had odd patches.

Dalehead and all surrounding tops clear.

Cracking day to be looking down on the world.

White stuff visible on Wetherlam, Coniston, and Wansfell Pike, but not on Todd Crag. That was the windiest night we have had in years. Lots of local roads blocked by fallen trees.

Up here at high altitude in Leicestershire (70 metres above sea level), it was snowing when I woke up; and the snow was settling, although it is melting fast now. No wind damage as far as I can see.
