It's all about Organix baby cocoa & oat bars at the moment for me. They only need a couple of chews & they're down doing the business. Taste great too. They also do carrot cake. All natural ingredients !!

Buchanans Super Jelly Beans for me. "Large and very tasty"- they are and veggie too. If unable to get hold of then Morrison's jelly beans are a stand-in.
First run then beer. If no run then proceed directly to beer.

Tried the Banana & Rice 6 month old food from Ella's after reading this tread, taste was a very strong banana, with a gritty texture, I found it repeated on me during run, not sure its for me, found some Sun maid fruit fingers with yogurt bars in tesco's or also apricot cereal Geobar (Fair trade) which go down very nicely on a long run. Like the Turkish Delight idea, thought about refining the idea by chilling or freezing it

Recently tried turkish delight, very good. Also found a bar called "naked" in Tescos, made in Wales, nice vegan friendly ingredients, very "sports bar like" in taste. Chocolate and apple flavours and only 80 pence each. Been into cadbury's brunch bars recently and back on fig rolls too. TBH fig rolls are on their way out for me...

Anyone got any savoury ideas,? Far too much sweet and refined sugar products here!

Marmite cereal bars are the business when you can't face any more sugary things - they're shockingly savoury.
Helps if you like Marmite though

Visited the dentist today after one of my teeth split at the weekend and told to cut the sweets down, might take her for a run for a few hours to make her understand On a serious note will have to try and cut sweets down, any less sugary alternatives you guys have found? I usually take bananas, jelly babies and a mars bar on long runs.
