I used the banana & apple sachets (about a 70/30 composition).

On sale at most major supermarkets apparently (on offer at Tesco), and on the website there are lots of links to buy online too.
I'm going to remember this, thanks.

That's what I thought. Perfect after the 1st hour of an off road marathon. I think they'll be in my waist pack for the Blubberhouses 25 !

I'd be interested to hear how the "Stage 2" babyfood goes down. Apparently got lumps in. Maybe not so good for old and toothless fell runners.

The "Lovely Lamb Roast Dinner" sounds lovely, or am I just the ad man's dream.

Thanks for the info - I'll give some a try. There used to be something very similar, (including the packaging) that you could buy amongst the snacks etc in supermarkets, but they seemed to stop selling them a year or two back. I used the first ones quite often, much tastier than a gel and the screw top meant that you could save some for later.

Excellent! Glad they worked out for you.

Just noticed that they have a very long 'use by' date too so its possible to stock up on them.

Now who do I speak to at Ella's Kitchen about commissions?

Banana Baby Brekkie has to be the perfect complement to the Marmite cereal bars that have become long distance essentials for me

At this rate I'm going to eat better on the hoof than I do at home

    Thanks for the tip simgreen
