Place, height, mode of transport. Hopefully this'll throw up a few interesting stories. I'll start: -

Personal highest (PH) - Top of the top top glacier, Les Deux Alpes, France, about 3550m, snowboard

On foot - Tracuit Cabin, Anniviers Valley, nr Zinal, Switzerland, 3256m

Bike - Cime de la Bonette, France, 2802m

The bike one was definitely the hardest, snowboard the most memorable - perfect clear day, you could see virtually everything, Mont Blanc looked amazing! Tracuit Cabin, great soup!

Despite the plane being okay, I've done a parachute jump. It was only about 1000mtrs above Bucks, so that would make it about 1001mtrs. Jolly exciting none the less.

Probably being on a plane, apart from that only the summit of Ben Nevis.

Mt Kinabalu, Sabah/Borneo...4101m, during Climbathon / Kinabalu Mt race. Held each October and such an adventure to recommend to everyone - but make sure you're blooming fit cos cutoff times not easy for mere mortals (links under Sabah Tourism Office last time I looked)

Only race I've ever stopped at Summit for few minutes to look around (Reckoned, so far correcly , I'd never go back again ) An awesome place.

Mount Whitney, California. 14,505 feet (4,421 meters). Did it in a day there and back from the portal... been up quite a few peaks in the Alps, but not as high.
