That sounds great london exile have you done anything like that before?

I am considering doing something similar with BTCV

Silver Sands campsite near Lossiemouth at the end of July. Travel up on the Friday and run the Ben Rinnes 5 Tops Hill Race on the Saturday and that's me unwound and set up for the rest of the holiday

I tried for the week at Wasdale head in May but it was fully booked so I'm of to Crawflyn basecamp,Beddgelert for a week - looking to tag the Foel fras race on at the end of the week.

Onehill wonder - Go for it - you'll have a great time - I've been on Btcv & National trust volunteering holidays in the past - can't really say which is better other than the fact that if you do a NT holiday you'll get a free 1 year pass to visit any of their properties.
