4 miles on the flat(ish) road out of the village to Haddon Grove and back.
Avoiding running on hills, especially down, at the moment as part of the plan to get the calf sorted once and for all!
Visibility good except in Hill Fog
A quick 5k around my local roads. I remembered why I don't normally run on them.... Didn't help that I couldn't find my road shoes so ran in Speedcross.
Treadmill session, as usual pushed harder than first intended... with perhaps 20 mins of fairly sustained uphill running, in amongst the power-walking... 6 miles 2400ft.
10.5 miles and 5000ft on the treadmill.
Not fun, not pretty, and now it's garage-based rather than gym-based, there's nothing (and nobody!) to look at.
But it's hard work in fresh air, so should count myself lucky!
Repeated the midweek 5,4,3,2,1 session... but added a 6 minute effort on the front, and instead of minute rests, did 5 minute uphill power walks in between.
Really pushed hard today as did the session on treadmill... if i pass out/puke up, it doesn't really matter in the garage, but might raise a few eyebrows if that happened in the park these days!
Total of 46.5 miles and 12,000ft for the week.

5 x 2mins, with 1 minute recovery. Did this as a hill session on the treadmill and knocked up 4 miles and 1950ft, including warm up/down.
Will probably repeat later in the week as a flat session.
1 hour progressive run, 8 miles. Was going significantly slower than 7:30/mile pace for at least half an hour... fairly flying the last 20mins.
A solid but unspectacular week... 48 miles 15,000ft... Hope to up the mileage a little over the next week.
