Up Beacon Hill, back via Windmill Hill. Half a minute over the hour; maybe there's still hope of getting back under 60 minutes for this route.
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.

An easy run out of Mungrisdale this morning. Ticked off another Wainwright (Souther Fell) and then looped back via Bannerdale Crags and Bowscale Fell. A lovely morning if a tad breezy. 12.5km/650m

Whilst you've been on the Northern Fells, I've been out East...

Longsleddale, Grey Crag, Tarn Crag, Branstree, then a fine descent down to Gatescarth Pass and back down to Sadgill Bridge.

Two new Wainwrights... One to go (hopefully on Monday!)

    7.5 miles, 2650ft.

I have 2 of the Northern left and most of the other books are about 90%complete apart from the far Eastern. I only started on that late on life when I finally had my own transport and time to spend on the hills. Hope you get to complete them Monday and celebrate accordingly! 😁

A gentle run out over Latrigg and Brundleholme woods. Barely broke into a Canter, even on the glorious descent down the east ridge of Latrigg in the late evening sun.

Feel much better for it. 5.5 miles 1400ft. Gives a decent weeks total of 60 miles and 13,150ft.

The big news however being that I've regained my place as number 1 in my postcode area on Run Britain... Surely the Olympic Selection Committee can ignore me no longer!!

Started off this morning from Steel End Wythburn. I intended to follow the valley up to Greenup Edge but poor visibility and confusing terrain in "The Big" saw me pushed a bit further south, and I diverted onto the Calf Crag - Sargeant Man path.

Over Sergeant Man and round to Pavey Ark. Pavey Ark was my 214th Wainwright... Finally been on top of them all after 22 years.

From there went over Thunacar Knott, Marr Crag, then round the back of Black Crags and Rossett Pike, to Angle Tarn, then down Rossett Gill to the ODG.

12 miles 2800ft. Slight shame that there was no view on my final Wainwright... In true Lakes fashion, within 5mins of leaving the summit it had cleared completely!!

Congratulations, Pete. Sounds like a good run to finish them off. Now just the outlying fells to do.... ;-)

Having nearly polished off the Northern Fells last week, I've been going through my Wainwrights and compiling a hit list. I don't have any time frame in mind but it would be nice to say I've done them all one day.

Thanks... funnily enough, i was looking at the Outlying Fells earlier today!

Although to be honest i'm hoping to put most of my efforts into racing.

Supposed to be club night tonight, but still pretty ruined from the weekend (which consisted of 38 miles and nearly 12000ft), so will have to do the club session alone, later in the week.

Racing on the track on sunday. The constant switching between fast track races and brutal fell races is proving tough... with no end in sight (the weekend after it's another long day out in Wales, followed by a Track Mile a couple of weeks after)
