Week before last 60 miles (inc Hebden)
    Last week 31 miles
    This week

Sunday 30th - 15 miles, middle section of the Trog and some extra bits around Hardcastle crags
    Monday 31st - 6 m bike, 3 run, Club off road duathlon
Wed 2nd am - 16 mile, Calder valley round
pm - 4 mile off road head-torch run, (should have been further but K1M and Brett are wimps).
    Fri 4th - 5 mile off road head-torch run
Sat 5th - 7 mile off road run (part head-torch)
Thats some pretty serious mileage in a week AS, how do you fit it all in? The week of the Hebden I think i manged 40 and 22 of those were the Hebden!

27 miles last week including a couple of runs whilst having a relaxing spa weekend at Centreparcs Whinfell Forest!
I did an 11 miler on Saturday morning just around the complex in and out of the forest trails. My garmin measured over 2500 feet of ascent! :w00t: I thought it was an 'undulating' run but surely that can't be right? Good if it is though!

    Re: Today's Training

the last of the winter monday races for me, I'll miss the last one skiing but I hope it won't effect the overall results .
7.43 miles 1255ft climb in 55.37 4.20 minutes off my PB, but "Over the Hill" gets his revenge, I just beat him last time, this time though he beat me easily by a couple of minutes.
Nicky was there as was Green Flash a great series of races for keeping you sharp, roll on the Summer Series...

5.4miles off road bog trotting on the Leeds country way. Got chased by a horse and had to jump a stile which resulted in a nasty twinge in my calf. I think it's just a minor pull and I was only about 1/4 mile from home so sprayed the hose on it straight away, hopefully caught it in time...

Serious 45min spin class last night, sandwiched between two reasonably-paced 20-minute runs.

    Duathlon anyone?

19 min 5k on the "dreadmill" this a.m. Followed by a nice cycle to work. Already contemplating the ride back.

You must have been looking forward to getting off that dreadmill Jez, with a time like that!

I've had a lovely 5.5 mile run partly along the seafront this morning...in the warmth of a bright yellow thing in the sky! :w00t:
Felt good too, even though I really didn't feel like going out with heavy legs, once I was out it felt unexpectedly easy!

Great weekend in the Shropshire Hills.

Sat - Cardingan Canter, cup of tea then 70 min run to Callow and back.

Sun - Recce of the long Mynd route.

    Legs were smashed on Monday.
