Rombald's stride route done again this morning, 3hr 20min exactly. 21mins better then on the day (weather was a bit better though )
Last long run before the Peaks so wanted to go out and do a tough one, felt fairly strong so happy with that. Last big climb was a killer but when isn't it.
3hours 20mins with Mrs. Crumblydown and dogs from above Pecket Well to Bacup following Calderdale Hike route up over Theiveley Pike. Hailstones, wind, sunshine, more wind and a Spam and Mustard sarnie to finish, Crumblydown's Bacup Bakery is bloody marvellous:thumbup:
And dog wind in the car on the way home:thunbdown: Sorry mate
Hills and Guinness!
19C/warm wind/20 miles, mainly off road/2.46/862ft of up and down/no food or drink/sigvaris socks. Excellent!
Followed by Fentiman's gingerbeer and Madeleine Peyroux - a little bit of Heaven.

you pre empted my question about temperature and hydration on your run
16m 2000ft over Blackstone Edge. Lovely.
Too scared to run round Manchester city centre last night and it wasn't much better this morning.. Did some exercises in my hotel room instead. :closed:
Absolutely beasted my 10 mile 1850 foot-er over Plover Hill, Pen y Ghent and Whitber Hill today. Didn't need to drink anything other than the occasional sip of the sweat and rain water running down my face
