Alexandra - I ran from my house cross country to Bramhope and joined the Ebor way just off Creskeld lane, followed this down towards Weardley and branched off into Harewood, past the old Dingle farm (now two barn conversions) and back past the New Inn and the Donkey Sanctuary, through Eccup Whin, and down the Old Roman road to Golden Acre and back home via Breary marsh, Pauls Pond and Cookridge golf course. I feel I've completely abused the comma now but you get the drift

Vindicated this with a quality 9mile club run round Calverly millennium way last night circa 1 hour

Fairfield and Seat Sandal Wednesday morning with Danazz and Daz the Slug, Latrigg fell race with Woodzy Wednesday evening.
Thursday did around 16 mile 4,500ft on and around Helvellyan taking a few little used paths, indeed i'd gone best part of 10 miles before seeing any one I could say morning to.

Painful Track session last night, did 8 x 800m reps with 200m recoveries. Ran each rep around 2:45-2:50 (5:30 pace) so was pretty done by the end.

I'm just not getting time to get into the hills at the moment, looking forward to wharfedale mara (I think) just for the change of scenery.

First trot out for a month. Nine miles home from Junction 22 of the M62. Over White Hill, Rape Hill and March Hill down Willykay Clough and down the valley to Marsden. Nice, but hot. Good to be on the road to recovery.

Well done, Rob, but what is the meaning of wOOt? I did take the trouble to look it up on the Forum's list of smileys, but that gives no translation - obviously one is expected to know. It sounds like the hooting noises made by chimpanzees.
    Begin afresh, afresh, afresh.

Just a smiley Alex, no idea why w00t is what represents it. Maybe ask Brett?
