I think having U10's, U14's and U18's as categories would work better. I suppose there's always going to be problems with Juniors though as they all develop differently.

Had a great 14 miles out from home to mount tabour- wainstalls- castelcar top- castlecar bottom- Catherine house ascent to midgley moor along water culvert to a very empty Halifax boating lake- withins cold edge dams- tabour and home. Felt slow and hard but gps said 4 PBs so was well chuffed. There were loads of curlews flying about today too.

19 miles (3hrs 30) from Cow and Calf recceing most of Burley Bridge Hike route. Good to see plenty of birdlife both on the moorland sections including Snipe, Curlew etc + on canal section.

Your lad came 12th in 11:51 according to the spreadsheet I got emailed over from someone at the club.

13mi / 1900ft loop up and around Clougha Pike (nr Lancaster) for me tonight - mostly roads but a good few miles on the fell. Felt really sick after it for some reason, seemed to disappear after I ate a stock cube (I think my body must have been craving salt...)
