Our club run last night was from Naylors Brewery in Crosshills. Fabulous run out over Cowling Pinnacles followed by Pinnacle Blonde or Bitter. Naylor's brewery tap is open at weekends. Highly recommended!

Just back from an interesting 10 miler with 1200 ascent. I tried to find three plane crash sites and managed it! Started at Wilmer Hill (Holme Moss) and finished in our back yard.

The last one was a bugger to find as my compass had decided to turn into a spinning top. Super couple of hours out and the seeds of a new round have been sewn!

there's at least one there I havent done, you could for an extra 2 miles do the Liberator B24 43-94841 of Bomb Group, U.S.A.A.F. Crashed 9th October 1944. SITE LOCATION. Twizle Head Moss. not too far from Holm moss station and of course the 2 meteors on Sliddens Moss
Nice run with the club over Kinder last night 7ish miles signed in at various boxes inc a visit to Mermaids pool but only those on the NE side had any thing to quench a thirsty fellrunner
This morning a pacey 11 mile run round Ladybower with my daughter on her bike, she really pushed me hard....
Ahh well if your heading to the 3 north of Tintwistle thats real rough ground. theres also a few tea plants just North of Chew res, also I feel a trip to feather bed Trig is a must as I feel sorry for it being just 1m lower than the county high point, even though it looks higher to me.
One of the best days out on the fells today. I fell mountain biking on Tuesday so I wasn't feeling too fresh. Parked up at Stonethwaite and headed up to Sergeant Man then BG route to Bowfell and back down to the Tarn below Rosset Pike and able to run all the way back, pausing briefly to take a swim in the beck. Sunburnt neck but just brilliant.
