Hill reps for me tonight..............under fire! Lad came with me with a toy gun and hid in the grass taking pot shots at me!
Made me go slightly faster, but not much

Threshold session on the bike last night - rode just below lactate heart rate for 45 mins. Been emotional all day.
Wasdale recce....Seatallan, Scoatfell, Pillar...walked/jogged with our lass! Nice day....saw 10 Peak Charity runners/walkers...and BGR attempt going up Kirkfell!!
Guisecliff Gallop today, 3.5 miles (ish) up through middle tongue and up to guisecliff top quarry and back. Struggled a bit in the heat but came 4th in 26mins (bit less than 3 mins behind the winner). Cracking weather and a good day out. My nephew came 5th in the U9's as well and my niece ran as well. Good fun. Ended up sat in the beck after to cool down which was great

A tad under 17 miles heather bashing around all the plane wrecks you can visit from black hill without crossing a public road. A tad hot and the last five miles was walked like Douglas Bader on account of double thigh cramp. Nice. Full report on Long Distance Challenge thread to come.
BG leg 3 Dunmail - Langdale Pikes and back yesterday, run out over Lingmoor fell today ( a new Wainwright for me). Stunning weekend in Lakeland
Poacher turned game-keeper
20 minutes of walk and steady run to fest the ankle. Good news it held up well. Followed that with chest, back and legs in the gym.
Just a steady 4 mile recovery run around the local park.
7 miles round the Nottinghamshire countryside. It was so so so so hot today. Not a good run! (But still a good run if that makes sense? )
53 miles on the road bike yesterday, 31 miles on the MTB today and an hour running on the local hill. Was a decent breeze on the hill and plenty of clag to keep the temperature down which suited me perfectly. Good couple of days!
