65 minute run over the Roaches yesterday testing the ankle out over rough ground and under fastish descending. It held up and no serious issues afterwards so all is looking good.
Eccup 10 this morning, 62:03 and 26th place overall. Quite hard work but a massive PB and a good race.

2 short races yesterday - Leeds parkrun (21:01) am & Baildon Carnival Canter pm.
11.7 miles today - recceing start & finish sections of Burley Bridge Hike + loop over Rombalds Moor from Glen Road via Keighley Road/masts/trig point/twelve apostles - back onto BBH route. New HQ for the Hike means more road running before & after the moors section
Cadged a lift to skipton then took the bus to Buckden.
Then ran home to Ilkley via the Dales Way.
About 29 miles in 5.26.
Haven't run so much in a long time!
The only one who can tell you "You can't" is you. And you don't have to listen.
2 mile recovery jog this morning, feeling really bunged up and full of either cold or hayfever. Not good, I might have overdone it a bit and made myself poorly

20 minute fast run from the gym along canal towpath, across fields and gravel track back to gym. 10 minutes on the stepper waiting for my training partner to arrive. 40 minutes of legs, chest and back followed by stretches.
A tad under 4 miles upand down Black Hill from Wessenden Head. Nice workout for my new NB 101s. Very clear up top. First time I
have seen Snowdonia from Black Hill!
