Jogged 1.1 miles this morning. It may not have been far, It may have taken 10 minutes and I may have looked more like a jogger than a runner but things are looking up again.
Trying to plod up hills every day slightly faster than the day before

Curses. There was me thinking I was going well with 51 miles & 17000 feet. I'll have to get some more climbing in.

I am embarrassed to mention yesterdays run. 11 miles and 5554ft of climbing in Snowdonia. I must admit I am jealous of both andy gib and splatcher.

Yes, but it'll be nothing for the next 3 weeks for me. I'm backpacking coast to coast with the family.

You and me both. I am on a cruise round the Baltic for 12 nights from Friday. I will try my best to get a run in when we are in port but none of the cities have hills near the port.

I was happy with my 6.5 miles / 3400 ft ascent until I started reading this thread! It was over Crib Goch though so not the easiest terrain...

Quick 20mins on the Crosstrainer tonight. Found it pretty hard work actually after yesterdays race. Quads were burning.

I really need to get more steep hill work in
