10 miles and 2500ft from Glen Clova, largely off path with some very rough ground. Still not feeling strong on the hill but improving, pretty sure I spotted an Eagle to boot. Awesome views over to Lochnagar, Mount Keen, Corrie Fee, and Mayar and Driesh. Managed to suprise some walkers by pretty much falling down the hill onto the Jocks road. Really very glad to be able to afford getting out to the hills every week, the sunny weather probably helped too.
Spent the last 3 days running on the flat around Stockton and Middlesbrough (66mins, 84ish mins not finding 'boro Parkrun, 40ish mins) - can't wait until I get my wheels and can head off into the North York Moors - I can see them but they're a bit inaccessible at the mo'!
I will NOT become a road runner!

PS would be nice to meet up for a run sometime. Out of action for a couple of weeks now but late Sept onwards. Also thinking of doing the South Wales traverse next Summer so keen to build the distance again during the Winter.
9.6 miles. Saltaire over the moors to Burley. Wet, windy & autumnal. Only spoilt by my constant companion....my grumbling stomach.
