Same race as ian dp yesterday, just a few minutes slower and a with a couple of tumbles in sight of the finish.
Short but hilly run with the dog this afternoon. 3 miles and lots of feet of climb, along with a swim (for the dog, not me) in the river loxley.

8 miles round Bramhope, Harewood and Eccup tonight with the club. Last planned run before the Yorkshireman on Sunday. Might do a leg stretch later in the week but conscious now of getting my legs to recover properly in time.

    Re: Today's Training

30mins in gym, 150 squats, a few minutes sat on an enormous Swiss Ball plus five minutes wandering about lost in the hotel corridors trying to explain to the lad who looks after the gym the difference between 'lift' and 'left'

well its been ages since i have been able to write in this thread due to an injury but i did 3.5 miles at 8min/mile pace today and it felt awesome just to be able to run again and no flare ups either.
dont know where im going, dont know where ive been, all im doing is running, running to have fun.

    Re: Today's Training

My standard 30mins in hotel gym plus something that is becoming a bit of an addiction: wobbling about, balancing on a Swiss Ball. 130squats too

I started off on the treadmill and it felt a bit odd because the machines here in Bangladesh measure in imperial miles etc, whereas China has obviously been brought into line with Breezian policy and they use kilometers :closed:

    Re: Today's Training

Reverse of the Settle Loop with Justin Timberworks, a bit of extra hillwork thrown in at the end for the sake of masochism.
The field section of the run was nearly as muddy as the Great Westmorland Trail yesterday. 1hr 45mins.
