Mickleden Straddle from Iron Gates CP. 12.8 miles with 2650 ups and downs in just under 2:26. Nice.

Always good to return from injury, well done.

13 miles over the wind & rain lashed Ilkley Moors. Hugely enjoyable run with no dippy tummy. Stepping up a gear now for The Yorkshire Ultra in November.

Hey ZM I saw you - it was me climbing up one of the limestone crags beside Attermire Scar.... with the deranged friend waving and yahooing . And yeah my run today did take a bit of an oddball route!

Said 'deranged friend' had mistakenly thought that the two runners were leading the Settle Loop field but has since found out that they were going in the wrong direction and a week early...I blame the source of their information!

Yep, figured it was you. I was in the white tee, starting to enjoy myself after toiling round with dead legs, think my mate was beginning to flag a bit.

7 miles along the sand/mud last night. On the return leg I headed out from shore to scare myself a bit. It was remarkably enjoyable to run along the sand, a few hundred metres out from the sea wall, with a little pool of headtorch light in front of me.
