Sounds a great run - don't think I'm quite fit enough for all that yet but one day I will be!

    Re: Today's Training

9 miles today with around 2500ft climb. From Dent along the beck and up the SW flank of Whernside, onto Knoutberry Hill and past Whernside Tarns before heading on to the Whernside Summit. Dropping down from the Trig on the Deepdale side to the road before heading cross country up High Pike, dropping down to Gastack beck and up the other side to the track. I followed this back to the house at Dent (not my house unfortunately). Took me nearly 2.5 hours but did include a large amount of faffing with the map (otherwise known as navigating), and a bit of climbing over walls etc. Terrain was very rough in places but great fun!

Saturday the race route of the "G&B it" 16 miles 2000ft running Sweep so not what you would call fast pacey running but still 4 hours on my feet.
Sunday a pacey 20 miles 3700ft racing round the Hope Moors and Tours.

    Total for the week
66 miles and 7500ft plus 1 mile swimming...
    rest day tomorrow..Phew!
