Did 14 miles yesterday. Sometimes runs leave you feeling revitalised. Yesterday it just finished me off and I was shivering at the end. Wiped me out for the day! That sort of thing's rare, though.
Thanks LFF, Seems to be getting better pretty quickly with a bit of rest and the stretches the Physio showed me. If it's still giving me problems in a week or so will take you up on your offer.

My first mid-week whiz round Ogden of the summer. I really went all out tonight too, blowing it out my arse (as my younger daughter would say ) on the climb up towards Giants Tooth. I left it a bit late mind and it was getting really gloomy in the woods come the finish http://connect.garmin.com/activity/161926033

Excellent night recce of BG leg 2 last night... really perfect conditions. Had a biggish day round Langdale planned today, but after hauling myself out of bed after four hours kip and with legs like lead I decided to make the most of the weather and have a day to enjoy rather than endure. Started from Elterwater, up on to Lingmoor, down to Blea Tarn and nipped up to Side Pike where I had a cheeky 30 minute nap in the morning sun. Dropped down to ODG, went up in to the Langdales and on round to Silver Howe. Cracking day for the hills, though it really was hot up there.

6 miles round country lanes outside Penrith at lunch break. Was asked to go up Blencathra by a workmate but couldn't get the cover so had to make do with the roads. Bit gutted but at least hip seems to be holding up (ish).
