Ran from home to Lockerbie railway station, boring road run with small ruck sack, 9 miles, bloody cold on the hands, the frost was on the top of the cars at 6:30am but the sun was nice, from railway station to work in Edinburgh about a 1 mile, then the return trip tonight on the way home 20 miles total, will rest now until weekend when we have a 8 mile hill race at Langholm.

From Hayfield up to Kinder Low via Edale Cross, back down to the reservoir and climb up Sandy Heys. Then followed the Snake Path down to the Snake Inn, back uo Kinder to Fairbrook Naze and back along the Edge to William Clough and back down to Hayfield.

About 18m and 4000ft or so of climbing. Good run but shame the mist never cleared above 1500 ft.

Stayed pretty local today with a high level circuit of Longsleddale. From Sadgill straight up the fell side over Grey Crag and Tarn Crag. The dry weather made it pretty good going coz it can be a mire up there. Down to the Mosedale col before the pull up Branstree. Down to Gatesgarth and up Harter Fell. Blue skies and sunshine over Haweswater. Kentmere Pike and Shipman knotts before back to Sadgill. Hip feels ok but still not firing on all cylinders. Couple more steady weeks and it should be sorted.

Despite starting with a hangover, being hungover half way through, and being hungover at the end. A blinding day out, lots of steep rough ground and great running temps.

    19.5miles and 7800ft ascent
