Did the Langholm Hill race yesterday, 7 miles, finished first in the over 40 vets class and won some beer:thumbup:, result for me I never win anything, only a small field mind.
Did 5 miles with the wife wearing my weight vest then another slow 5 without, legs were stiff from yesterday’s race.

Finished a block of 4 days yesterday focusing in climbing, not a huge amount of miles but approx 21000ft climbing. The only ascent I'll do today is the stairs at home, and just the once. The sofa is a good place!

Was going to do BGR leg 2 with MatynP and partner Helen, we managed to get up Clough Head but were buffeted by gale force winds and a wind chill well below zero, made a wise decision to call it a day and turned back, did 9.5 miles in total so not too shabby. Met 2 runners at Dunmail Raise lay-by earlier in the day who were doing legs 1 & 2, no idea how they got on...
7miles or so club run over Embsay Crag from Skipton with a dozen pals. Brilliant night for a run out!

Full on winter run of BG leg 1 and most of leg 2 on Tuesday. Last Tuesday I caught a tan and this week was a white out over Helvellyn!
